Enabled restore points by setting maximum allowed used disk space of System Protection to 14.29GB and created first system restore point! It ended up using 86.52MB, if you're curious.
October 15, 2020 8:50 AM (CDT) I've disabled animations in Windows and immediately things seem much smoother. I've also committed to not running CCLeaner until November 1, 2020 or so (hopefully I'll be able to remember.) Considering my discovery of the thumbnail archive option in Custom Clean (which was fucking checked,) I'm wondering if the frequency I was running CCleaner might have been causing all the thumbnail problems.

November 7, 2020 5:11 PM (CST) Just noticed we have not created a System Restore Point in a very long time, so I'm doing that now.
November 7, 2020 5:43 PM (CST) I just changed the monitor profile (on Hildur's side) to 60Hz. from the 59Hz. one. So I guess we'll see if anything happens.
