I think it's particularly interesting that the same design house who created something as innovative/fresh as *The Outline's CMS* has also done significant work for the company at the literally polar opposite end of the CMS spectrum: MovableType is ancient, extremely expensive, and (I suspect) used by almost nobody anymore. Something to look more into.
